Biketoberfest at John’s Rock-N-Ride
_The Road
Rosie went over to Custom Works to get her oil changed. Of all the shops I have dealt with, they are the best! Friendly, respectful, and quality work at a reasonable price. They said, “no problem” regarding some things other shops have told me “can’t do”. The Parks Daytona Beach has been steadily changing through the years. The beach is becoming an “ocean walk” of high rise condos and hotels. I much prefer it farther north in Ormond and Flagler where the only construction on the beach is the occassional Life Guard Hut and the hotels are across the street. Lodging The loft is comfortable, if a bit dark . It is close to the beach and Main Street. So often I come to Daytona to work and never see the beach! This is the first time I’ve had my bike here, so I have a way to get around, and the time to go. One night I ran out of the store to move Rosie in my skirts and bare feet and all of a sudden I was surrounded by cameras! It was amusing. Usually Johnny and Sundown get all the photos taken. |
