Katie was being cantankerous, though I'd promised her a ride if she'd start. I had plugged her in to give her a little extra boost and grew concerned that she seemed to be winding down as I was cranking her. Then came the realization that the extension cord the battery charger was connected to wasn't plugged in. Duh! So much for extra boost! Power now, set the charger to trickle, and start Rosie to give Katie a little time to get herself together.
It only spit on us a little here and there during our 22 mile ride to and from the realtor's and Katie popped right off when I got home. She's still fussy. She won't idle down properly, though she's not trying to redline any more either, but stop for a minute and she'll stall because her idle is too low!
We spent some time cruising the back roads, including a few dead ends I've never been down. We only added eleven miles to her odometer, but she finally had a bit of room in her tank with all the ditzing around we've done in the past couple weeks for some fresh gas! Surprizingly she took 1.7 gallons ... and ran noticably better for the mile and a half home!
Total downpour, thunder, lightening, and flickering lights. The storm that's been looming all day finally rolled through. I'll have to work late tonight to catch up with what I didn't do today. That's ok. It's raining now. Today was WARM!
