The weather wasn't horrible today ... but it wasn't as warm as I would have liked either! I lolly-gagged in bed this morning ... ditzed around when I got up ... then realized I had an order on Amazon at 11:30 and ran out the door in my housedress to make it to the post office before it closed!

Then I came home, showered and got dressed. Oops! [more giggles]
There are things I should do here. Clean out the attic. Finish cleaning out the basement. Get rid of stuff in the bike shop that is really just taking up space. I don' t want to let go of it yet, but realistically will never use it.
Katie's (KZ250) playing dead. When I was working with her the other day, her battery was winding down with too many starts because she wouldn't idle down. On the last try, she just said "Heh!" and all the electrical went dead. I hooked her up to the charger and her battery read fine ... still nada!
What do I do with the skis in the barn? Mine are delaminating. There are a couple pair that are so old they are literally wooden boards. An old toboggan, and a couple sleds (the runner kind). I should have thought to put this stuff on E-Bay last winter! How to ship it once it sells? I have to figure that out before I list it.
Too much! Jump in the car and head to the campground. My toy hauler should be here soon and I'm not sure when they open ... or what spot I'll try for. I figure not too far away from where my folks usually set up ... but down by the creek. I like #166 ... and they opened on Easter, so I can check in as soon as it gets here! I sat there in my car and talked to my daughter for a while ... then drove around to see how it's changed through the years and the floods and ...
Back out to the barn to bring the girls presents ... their new regi stickers were waiting in the mailbox when I got home! Ok, Katelyn. What's your problem? A fuse seems likely, but why? ... and where are your fuses? I know I saw them one day last year ... hmmm.
Pull her seat, pull her air box, reroute her EZ Jump cable and redo her terminal bolts. Lights! Ok. Plug her in for a little extra boost and she starts! Still not sure where her fuses are ... but progress.
Play with her idle, kill her choke, she's still not idling right, but better, and every once in a while she backfires a little puff of smoke. Get her put back together and go inside for my helmet. The other day I didn't dare take her further than the corner and back. She'd stall, she'd wind out. She hasn't stalled yet today so I head over to my brother's (Todd). It's only two miles to his place and there's a couple straight aways where I can get on her and get her out of second gear! Sometimes she idles down, sometimes she doesn't.
There's an unfamiliar car in the driveway, maybe Sheila has a client (my sister-in-law is a massage therapist), so I don' t stop. The girls walking on the straight by the cemetary giggle as I go by again. Better Katelyn. If it was a bit warmer I'd run some of this gas out of you. Stabilizer is no substitute for fresh gas! I still think her carb may need to come apart (again).
Two different realtors are showing my house tomorrow. This is good. It brings hope. I need to keep faith that everything will happen as need be. I know this. I'll get Rosie out for a little while tomorrow if the weather holds.
I came across a recipe yesterday for "tin cloth" ... water repellent, wind and fire resistant. I may attempt making my own rain gear out of a comfortable pair of jeans and my denim jacket. I think that one will be comfortable over my armoured hoodie and sheepskin vest ... and boot mittens! Ok. New project for Newfoundland (deadline)! Now I just need to focus!
